Source: https://averyiq.com/help/get-started Updated: 2026-10-24 AveryIQ is a CRM that does the busywork for you. Inside it is Avery, your AI helper. You tell her about the people you know. She remembers them, notices who needs you, and writes the text for you. You read it, change it if you want, and send it. Read the first part of this page, then do the six steps on your iPhone. The whole thing takes about 20 minutes. ### What Avery does, and what you do | Avery | You | |---|---| | Remembers every person and what they told you | Talk with people | | Notices who needs you today, and why | Decide what to say | | Writes the text or plans the call | Tap Send or Call | | Keeps your notes, deals and dates in order | Tell Avery what happened | Avery never sends a text or email on her own. Nothing goes out until you tap **Send**. The big idea: **you put people in, and Avery makes sure no one is forgotten.** ### What changes in your day You don't have to change everything at once. Here is what gets easier. | What you do now | What you do with AveryIQ | |---|---| | Keep notes on sticky notes or in your head | Tell Avery out loud. She saves it on the right person. | | Type contacts into a CRM | Snap a photo, forward an email or say a name. Avery fills in the rest. | | Wonder who to call today | Open **Today**. Avery picks a few people and tells you why. | | Send the same email to everyone | Send one text to one person, for a real reason. | | Hope you didn't forget a promise | Search **Today** to see what's coming up for you and your team. | | Scroll old texts to remember what someone wants | Open their page. It's all there. | Avery can't help with people she doesn't know about. So the first job is to bring your people in. ### Start from where you are You don't need to move everything on day one. Pick what sounds like you. **Where are your people now?** - **In your head.** Tell Avery about them by voice, one at a time. See [Tell Avery about someone by voice](https://averyiq.com/help/tell-avery-about-someone). - **On paper sign-in sheets.** Take a photo, and Avery types it in. See [Add leads from a paper sign-in sheet](https://averyiq.com/help/add-leads-from-a-sign-in-sheet). - **In lead emails from Zillow and other sites.** Forward them to Avery. See [Copy Avery on your email](https://averyiq.com/help/forward-lead-emails). - **In your phone's contacts.** Go to **People** and tap **Import from Contacts**. You choose who comes in. - **In KW Command.** A Chrome add-on copies them over. See [Import your contacts from KW Command](https://averyiq.com/help/import-from-kw-command). - **In another CRM or a spreadsheet.** Email support@averyiq.com and our team will bring them in for you. **How do you text clients now?** - **From your own phone.** Keep doing that. When you tap **Send**, the text opens in Messages, and you send it there. Avery can't see your phone, so she asks how it went before the next follow-up. - **From a shared team line.** AveryIQ can give your team its own number. Texts go out from the app, and Avery sees every reply. See [Your own number or a team number](https://averyiq.com/help/your-number-or-a-team-number). Not sure? Start with your own number. You can add a team number any time. ### Step 1: Install the app and sign in (3 minutes) Get AveryIQ on your iPhone and sign in with the code we email you. Turn on notifications, so you know when a new lead comes in. See [Install AveryIQ on your iPhone](https://averyiq.com/help/install-the-app). ### Step 2: Tell Avery about one real person (3 minutes) Pick a real person: a lead, a past client, or a friend who might move. Your first **Today** has a **Grow your sphere** card that asks who you're helping right now. Tap **Pick from contacts** to choose them from your phone, or **Tell Avery** and say their name, how to reach them and how you met. Talk the way you would to a friend. Avery saves them and plans what comes next. Want to keep going later? On **People**, tap the add button, then **Grow your sphere**. ### Step 3: Forward one lead email (5 minutes) Tap **More**, then **Avery's email**. Pick a name for Avery's email address, and save it as a contact. Then forward her a lead email you already have. Avery adds the person and writes the first follow-up. See [Copy Avery on your email](https://averyiq.com/help/forward-lead-emails). ### Step 4: Start a deal or an open house (5 minutes) Do the one you need right now. - **Working with a buyer or seller?** Tap **+**, then **Start a deal**, and pick the client. A deal keeps its dates, people and files in one place. Avery watches the deadlines for you. - **Have an open house coming up?** Tap **+**, then **Open house**. See [Run your first open house](https://averyiq.com/help/run-an-open-house). ### Step 5: Invite your team (2 minutes) Work with other people? Invite them, so you share leads, deals and follow-ups. Work alone? Skip this step. See [Invite your team](https://averyiq.com/help/invite-your-team). ### Step 6: Finish your first card (2 minutes) Go back to **Today**. Each card says who, why now and what to do. Read Avery's draft, and tap it to change the words. Then tap **Send**. If the card isn't right, tap **Skip** and say why in a few words. Avery learns from it. See [Use your Today cards](https://averyiq.com/help/use-today). You'll see steps 3, 4 and 5 as cards on **Today** too. Each one goes away on its own once you've done it. ### Your first week Three habits make AveryIQ work: 1. **Open Today every morning.** Do your cards before the day gets busy. 2. **Tell Avery after every talk.** Just had a call or a showing? Tap **+**, then **Voice note**, and say what happened. A few seconds is enough. 3. **Skip with a reason when Avery is wrong.** "Too soon." "She already bought." Avery uses your words to do better next time. Want to see what Avery is keeping track of? Tap the search bar at the top of **Today**. It shows what's coming up, what your team is doing and what's done. ### Where to go next The [Help center](https://averyiq.com/help) has a guide for each part of the app. Stuck? Email support@averyiq.com, and a real person will help. --- ## Install AveryIQ on your iPhone > Get the AveryIQ iPhone app from TestFlight and sign in with the one-time code we email you. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/install-the-app Updated: 2026-10-30 AveryIQ lives on your iPhone. You'll need the account you made when you signed up. ### 1. Get the app On your iPhone, open the [AveryIQ TestFlight invitation](https://testflight.apple.com/join/vnVnYe7X). Install TestFlight if it asks, then tap **Install** for AveryIQ. ### 2. Look at your first Today Your first **Today** has a few cards to get you set up, like forwarding a lead email and starting a deal. Tap one to see how. Each card goes away on its own once you've done it. If your team has no people yet, a **Grow your sphere** card asks who you're helping right now. Add a real person you know. New here? Source: https://averyiq.com/help/before-your-first-call Updated: 2026-10-28 ![](https://averyiq.com/stickers/two-devices@2x.png) On your first call, we set up AveryIQ with you. To do that, we need to see your screen and help on your computer. Please do these steps a day or two before the call. They take about 30 minutes. The call uses your phone and your computer at the same time. We talk and see your screen on the computer. You try AveryIQ on your phone. So you need both, side by side, the whole time. You need: - Your phone - A Mac or Windows computer with a camera and microphone (a laptop is best) - The Google Chrome browser on that computer. Get it at [google.com/chrome](https://www.google.com/chrome/). - The password for your Apple ID (iPhone) or Google account (Android) - Good home or office Wi-Fi. Not a hotspot from your phone. A hotspot drops the call, and your phone needs its own connection to use AveryIQ. Each step ends with a test. If the test works, check the box. If you get stuck, skip it and email support@averyiq.com. We'll fix it before the call, not during it. ### 1. Put AveryIQ on your phone Do this on your phone, not your computer. **iPhone:** First get the free **TestFlight** app from the App Store. Then open the [AveryIQ TestFlight invitation](https://testflight.apple.com/join/vnVnYe7X) on your iPhone. Tap **Accept**, then **Install**. **Android:** Open [AveryIQ on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.averyiq.crm) on your phone and tap **Install**. You don't need to set anything up in the app yet. We'll do that together. **Test:** You can find the AveryIQ icon on your home screen, and it opens when you tap it. - [ ] AveryIQ is on my phone ### 2. Join Google Meet with your camera and microphone ![](https://averyiq.com/stickers/webcam-check@2x.png) We meet on Google Meet. Use your computer for the call, so we can see your screen. Your phone is for trying the app. 1. On your computer, open Chrome and go to [meet.google.com](https://meet.google.com). 2. Sign in with your Google account (your Gmail, or your work email if it runs on Google). No Google account? Make a free one at [accounts.google.com](https://accounts.google.com/signup). 3. Click **New meeting**, then **Start an instant meeting**. This is a test meeting with just you. 4. If Chrome asks to use your camera and microphone, click **Allow**. **Test:** You see yourself on the screen. When you talk, the small sound lines next to your name move. **Camera or sound not working?** - **Mac:** Open **System Settings**, then **Privacy & Security**. Click **Camera** and turn on **Google Chrome**. Do the same under **Microphone**. Then quit Chrome and open it again. - **Windows:** Open **Settings**, then **Privacy & security**. Click **Camera** and turn on camera access for desktop apps. Do the same under **Microphone**. - **In Chrome:** Click the icon to the left of the web address and turn on **Camera** and **Microphone**. - Close Zoom, Teams or FaceTime. They can hold on to your camera. Leave the test meeting open for step 4. - [ ] I'm signed in to Google Meet - [ ] I can see myself - [ ] My microphone picks up my voice ### 3. Set up Chrome Remote Desktop ![](https://averyiq.com/stickers/remote-help@2x.png) Chrome Remote Desktop is free from Google. It lets us help on your computer during the call, but only when you give us a code. We can't see or use your computer at any other time. 1. In Chrome, go to [remotedesktop.google.com/support](https://remotedesktop.google.com/support). 2. Under **Get Support**, click the download button. Add the Chrome extension when it asks. 3. Open the file that downloads and install it. Your computer may ask for your password. That's normal. **On a Mac, you must also turn on two settings.** Without them, we can see your screen but can't click or type. Fixing this on the call takes a long time, so please do it now: 1. Open **System Settings**, then **Privacy & Security**. 2. Click **Accessibility**. Turn on **ChromeRemoteDesktopHost**. 3. Go back and click **Screen & System Audio Recording**. Turn on **ChromeRemoteDesktopHost** here too. 4. Quit Chrome and open it again. Don't see **ChromeRemoteDesktopHost** in the list? Click **+**, then find it under **Applications**, in the **Chrome Remote Desktop** folder. **On Windows:** Click **Yes** when Windows asks if the app can make changes. Nothing else to turn on. **Test:** Go back to [remotedesktop.google.com/support](https://remotedesktop.google.com/support) and click **Generate Code**. You see a 12-digit code. Don't send it to anyone. You'll make a new one on the call. Does your brokerage manage your computer? It may block the install. If so, email us and we'll plan another way. - [ ] I can make a 12-digit code - [ ] On a Mac: both settings are on ### 4. Share your screen in Google Meet (backup plan) If Chrome Remote Desktop doesn't work on the day, you can show us your screen in Meet instead. This step is optional, but it saves time if you do it. 1. In your test meeting from step 2, click **Share screen** at the bottom. 2. Pick **Entire screen**, click your screen, then click **Share**. 3. When you're done, click **Stop sharing**. **On a Mac,** the first time you do this, your Mac may say Chrome isn't allowed to record the screen. Open **System Settings**, then **Privacy & Security**, then **Screen & System Audio Recording**. Turn on **Google Chrome**. Quit Chrome, open it again and try once more. **Test:** While you share, the meeting shows your whole screen, not just one tab. - [ ] I can share my whole screen in Meet ### 5. Bring 25 people and your goals On the call, we put your people into AveryIQ together. Avery can't help with people she doesn't know about, so this is the most important step. **Bring at least 25 people you want to work with.** Leads, past clients, people from open houses, friends who might move. Any format is fine: - A spreadsheet or a file from your old CRM - Lead emails from Zillow or other sites, still in your inbox - Paper sign-in sheets from open houses - Names in your phone's contacts - Your KW Command contacts - A list you write down by hand Don't clean it up first. Avery sorts it out. If it's a file, have it on your computer, ready to open. **Bring your goals.** Write down what you hope for, big and small. How many homes do you want to sell this year? How much time do you want back? What would make next year your best one? We'll set up AveryIQ around your goals. Save your other questions for our second call. - [ ] I have at least 25 people ready to add - [ ] I wrote down my goals ### You're ready ![](https://averyiq.com/stickers/on-time@2x.png) This call is time with the founder of AveryIQ, set aside just for you. To get the most from it, treat it like a listing appointment. On the day of the call: - **Be on time.** Join from the link in your calendar invite 2 minutes early. If we start late, we cover less. - **Sit at a desk.** Not in the car, at a showing or walking around. You'll need both hands, your computer and your phone. - **Use real Wi-Fi.** Connect your computer and your phone to the same good Wi-Fi. No hotspots. - **Plug in.** Charge your phone and plug in your laptop. Turn off Low Power Mode on your phone. - **Find a quiet room.** Use headphones if others are around. - **Block the whole time.** Don't book a call or showing right after. Silence other calls if you can. - **Have Chrome open,** with Google Meet working from step 2. Can't make it, or running late? Email support@averyiq.com as soon as you know, and we'll find a new time. Something didn't work? Email support@averyiq.com before the call and tell us which step. A real person will help. --- ## Invite your team > Add teammates by email so you work from the same contacts, cards and deal conversations. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/invite-your-team Updated: 2026-10-14 Teammates share your contacts, cards and deal conversations. Skip this if you work alone. ### 1. Open Team Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Team**. ### 2. Send the invitation Under **Invite a teammate**, enter their email and send it. They'll show as **Waiting for them to join** until they accept. You can **Resend invitation** or **Revoke invitation** from the same screen. --- ## Use your Today cards > Each morning Avery puts a few people on Today with a reason and a ready draft. Send it, edit it, snooze it, or skip it. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/use-today Updated: 2026-10-18 Video: [Your morning deck: who to reach out to today, already written](https://youtube.com/shorts/Pt5075GrcK4) (0:58) **Today** is where you start each day. Avery picks a few people who need you, says why, and prepares a text to send or a call to make. Nothing goes out until you say so. ### 1. Read the card Each card shows who, why now, and Avery's draft. Quiet days can have just one or two cards; that's on purpose. About once a week, a **Grow your sphere** card asks a question like "Who cuts your hair?" Pick them from your contacts or tell Avery about them. Then keep going with the next question, or tap **Done**. ### 2. Send it Tap **Send**. On your own number, the draft opens in Messages ready to go; send it there. With a team number, it sends from the app. ### 3. Make it yours Tap the draft to edit it before sending. ### 4. Not now, or not at all **Skip** (or swipe left) removes the card; tell Avery why in a few words so she learns what you'd rather do. The clock, or a swipe down, snoozes it and brings it back later. ### Change when your deck is ready Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Deck ready at**. ### Video transcript [0:00] Last time, you told Avery about Maya: the lease, the wedding, Biscuit the golden retriever. So what does it do with all that? [0:07] Every morning, Avery picks a few people you need to reach out to, and puts them on the Today screen. Not a to-do list. Just who needs you, and why. [0:16] Avery helps you stay disciplined with your follow-up. Just have a few real conversations every day, and you'll turn more of them into closings by the end of the year. [0:23] Instead of blasting out canned messages to your valuable sphere, Avery tees up a strategic text to send, or a call to make. It writes from what it knows about Maya, not an automated "just checking in" that gets ignored. [0:35] Nothing goes out until you say so. Tap Send, it opens in your Messages, and the conversation's started. [0:40] Not quite right? Tap the draft to make it yours, or tap Nope and tell Avery why. Like a good assistant, it learns your style and gets better every day. [0:48] You remember the people. Avery remembers the details. Next, see how Avery learns from all those phone calls you make. --- ## Tell Avery about someone by voice > Open a person's page, tap Speak and talk. Avery saves notes and profile updates and shows which of your words each came from. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/tell-avery-about-someone Updated: 2026-10-14 Video: [Tell Avery everything you remember about a client](https://youtube.com/shorts/bnM95Tc2vwE) (0:59) The best details come out of conversations: a lease ending, a wedding, a dog that needs a yard. Say them out loud once and Avery remembers them. ### 1. Open their page and tap Speak Find the person in **People**, open their page, and tap **Speak**. ### 2. Just talk No form and no order. Ums and ahs are fine. Stuck? Avery suggests things to mention based on what she doesn't know yet. Tap **Done** when you're finished. ### 3. See what changed Back on their page, new details are marked **new**. Tap one to see the words it came from. Met someone new? Tap **+**, then **Voice note**, and tell Avery who you met, how to reach them and what they're looking for. ### Video transcript [0:00] Maya Torres is in your database, but Avery just has her number and two words: pre-approved, Oak Park. The rest is in your head, ready to be forgotten. [0:09] But you did talk with her for twenty minutes. Her lease ends in June. She's getting married in July. She has a golden retriever. And her sister lives in Evanston. [0:19] Let's take the burden of remembering these important dates off you. Open up her profile page and tap Speak. [0:25] Then just ramble. No form, no order. Ums and ahs are totally fine. Stuck? Avery suggests things to talk about based on what it doesn't know yet. [0:35] Tap Done and get on with your day. Avery takes all the notes and updates the CRM: her timing, a yard for the dog, her sister. [0:44] Back on her page, it's all there. Each one is marked new. Tap it to see the words it came from. [0:50] Now Avery knows Maya the way you do. Next, what Avery does with all that juicy new tea! --- ## Add leads from a paper sign-in sheet > Photograph a sign-in sheet and Avery saves each visitor, turns their notes into what they're looking for, and asks about anything she couldn't read. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/add-leads-from-a-sign-in-sheet Updated: 2026-10-14 Video: [Turn an open house sign-in sheet into leads with one photo](https://youtube.com/shorts/Aav9ySnbE40) (1:00) Paper sign-in sheets, business cards, a list on a napkin: if you can photograph it, Avery can turn it into people. ### 1. Take the photo Tap **+**, then **Photo**. Get the whole page in frame, flat, in good light, with every row showing. ### 2. Add a note and send it Add a quick note, such as which open house it was and that these are leads. Tap **Send to Avery**. ### 3. Check what Avery saved Avery reads every row, even messy handwriting, and replies in **Ask Avery** with who she saved. Notes like "pre-approved, Oak Park" become what that person is looking for. Anything she couldn't read, like a smudged email or a missing digit, she asks you about instead of guessing. ### 4. Undo if you need to Each person keeps the original words on their page. Changed your mind about something Avery saved? Open their **History** and tap **Undo** on that change. ### Video transcript [0:00] Every open house leaves a sign-in sheet. Most of them end up in a drawer. [0:05] You're busy. You don't have time for data entry. So snap a photo, and let Avery do it. [0:10] In AveryIQ, tap the plus, then Photo. [0:13] Get the whole page in frame: flat, good light, every row showing. [0:19] Add a quick note: which open house, and that these are leads. Then send it to Avery. [0:25] Avery reads every row, even the messy handwriting. [0:29] It saves each person with their phone and email, turns notes like "pre-approved, Oak Park" into what they're looking for, and tells you what it couldn't read instead of guessing. [0:41] Each person keeps the original words on their page. Changed your mind? Undo it in Activity. [0:47] Seven leads in under a minute. But right now they're just names and numbers. Next, how to tell Avery everything you remember about them. --- ## Your own number or a team number > AveryIQ works with your own phone from day one. A team number adds one business line, texts from the app, calls that ring the team and call recording. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/your-number-or-a-team-number Updated: 2026-10-14 Video: [Your own number or a team number? How calls and texts work](https://youtube.com/shorts/l3Iatcv-Z-M) (1:12) You don't need a new number to start. ### Your own number Texts open in Messages and calls open your phone's dialer, so nothing changes for your clients. The catch: Avery can't see what happens on your personal phone, so before the next follow-up she asks you how it went. On an iPhone, you can [send the texts you get to AveryIQ](https://averyiq.com/help/forward-your-texts) so Avery sees your clients' replies. ### A team number One business line for your whole team, so a lead never depends on which of you they saved. Texts go out from the app and replies come back to it, so Avery sees the whole conversation. Calls can ring the whole team, round-robin or a phone tree. If nobody picks up and you've turned it on, Avery answers, says she's an AI assistant and takes a message. Turn on call recording and Avery remembers what was said. AveryIQ doesn't announce recording, so tell your callers. ### Set one up Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Team number**, and pick an area code. Calls work right away. Texting needs a carrier registration, which can take a few days to a few weeks; the app walks you through it. Each contact remembers which number they use, so past clients still reach you the way they always have. ### Video transcript [0:00] Avery works with your own phone number from day one. Texts open in your Messages, calls open your dialer, and nothing changes for your clients. [0:08] There's one catch. Avery (and the rest of your team) can't see what happens on your personal phone. She doesn't know if Maya wrote back, so before the next follow-up, she has to ask you. [0:18] A team number changes that. It's one business line for your whole team, so a lead never depends on which of you they happen to save. [0:25] Texts go out right from the app, and Avery can even send them on her own. [0:29] Calls can ring the whole team, round-robin, or you can even set up your own phone tree. If nobody picks up, Avery will! Turn on call recording, and Avery remembers the details from every call for you. [0:41] Setup is quick: pick an area code, and calls work right away. Outbound texting needs a carrier registration, which can take a few days to a few weeks, and the app walks you through it. [0:50] Each contact remembers which number it uses, so your old clients will still reach you seamlessly. [0:55] So which one? Start with your own number. Avery's useful from day one. When you want Avery to help you proactively, add a team number. Then Avery keeps herself up to date, and remembers what you promised on that call from the car, so you don't have to. --- ## Send the texts you get to AveryIQ > Set up your iPhone so texts from your clients reach AveryIQ, even without a team number. Texts from other numbers wait for you to choose. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/forward-your-texts Updated: 2026-10-31 When you text from your own phone, Avery can't see the replies. Text forwarding fixes that. Your iPhone sends each text you get to AveryIQ. - A text from someone in your AveryIQ contacts goes into their thread. Avery reads it and can write your reply. - A group text goes into the group's thread when everyone in it is in AveryIQ. Avery's reply goes to the whole group. - Anything else is held for review: a text from any other number, or a group text with someone new in it. Avery doesn't read it. You choose to add it or ignore it. You set it up once, in the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. It takes about two minutes. ### Before you start: add your mobile number AveryIQ needs your own number to tell a group text from a text sent just to you. Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Text forwarding**, then **Your mobile number**. The setup steps show up once it's saved. If your mobile number is ever removed, forwarding pauses. Your texts wait on your iPhone for up to a week and come in once you add it again. ### 1. Make the automation 1. Open the **Shortcuts** app and tap **Automation**. Tap **New Automation**, or **+** if you already have one. 2. Choose **Message**. 3. Tap **Message Contains** and type a single space. Almost every text has a space, so it runs for almost every text. 4. Choose **Run Immediately**, so it runs without asking you. Then tap **Next**. 5. Tap **New Blank Automation**. Search for **Send Text to AveryIQ** and tap it. ### 2. Fill in the action The action has three rows: **Content**, **Sender** and **Recipients**. Each one gets the item with the same name. 1. Tap **Content**. Tap **Shortcut Input** above the keyboard. 2. Tap **Shortcut Input** in the row and choose **Content**. 3. Do the same for **Sender**, choosing **Sender**. 4. Do the same for **Recipients**, choosing **Recipients**. This is how AveryIQ knows a text came from a group, like a couple texting you together. 5. Tap **✓** to save. The same steps are in the app. Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Text forwarding**, then **How to set up**. Your iPhone may show a small banner each time it runs. That's normal. ### 3. Check that it works Ask a friend to text you a full sentence. Then open **Text forwarding** in Settings. It says when the last text came in. ### Texts held for review When a text is held, **Texts forwarded from your personal phone** shows at the top of your Inbox. Tap it to see each number or group and what they said. For each one, choose: ![Two numbers held for review, each with Ignore and Add to AveryIQ](https://averyiq.com/help/images/forward-your-texts-held.png) - **Add to AveryIQ.** For a number, type their name, or add the number to someone you already have. For a group, the new people are added with their names from your phone's contacts, or with no name if you don't have them saved. The texts move into the thread, and new ones go there too. - **Ignore.** The texts aren't imported, now or later. Tap **Undo** right away if you change your mind. A group is separate from the people in it. Ignore your family group text, and texts from your dad still come in when he texts you on his own. Changed your mind later? Open **Text forwarding** in Settings. Your ignored numbers and groups are listed there, each with **Add to AveryIQ**. Texts you don't add or ignore are deleted after 30 days. ### Texts with your teammates in them When a client texts you and a teammate together, it goes into the client's thread, or the group's when there's more than one client. Your teammate is never added as a person. When your teammate also forwards their texts, the same text comes in once, not twice. A teammate's reply shows up as theirs, because your iPhone got it too. For this to work, each teammate adds their mobile number under **More**, then **Settings**, then **Account**. Texts between just you and your teammates aren't imported. ### What it doesn't do - **Texts you send aren't included.** Send from a card or a person's thread, and AveryIQ keeps a copy. In a group with a teammate who forwards texts, your texts come in through their iPhone. - **One-word texts may not come through.** A text like "Yes" or "Thanks" has no space. Avery still checks in with you before following up. - **Photos don't come through.** Only the words of a text do. - **It's iPhone only.** A [team number](https://averyiq.com/help/your-number-or-a-team-number) gets every text, both ways, without any of these limits. --- ## Copy Avery on your email > CC, BCC or forward the emails that belong in your CRM to Avery's email address, and send lead emails to Avery automatically. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/forward-lead-emails Updated: 2026-10-14 Avery has its own email address, like an assistant. Copy it on the emails that belong in your team's CRM and Avery files each one on the right person (and their deal), and learns from it. Teammates can see what you send. ### 1. Find Avery's email address Tap **More**, then **Settings**, then **Avery's email address**. Choose a name once: clients see it when you copy Avery, so it doesn't change. Save it as a contact named Avery. ### 2. Copy Avery - **CC** Avery on threads it should follow. Clients see your assistant on the thread, and their replies-all come back to Avery. - **BCC** Avery to log an email quietly. - **Forward** an email to file it: a lead, an inspection report, a pre-approval letter. Add a line saying who or what it's for. Email you send from AveryIQ copies Avery for you. You can turn that off on the same screen. ### 3. Send lead emails automatically (optional) A rule in your mail app can forward your lead emails from Zillow, Realtor.com and other portals to Avery's address as they arrive. Open **Send lead emails automatically** on the same screen for the steps. - **Gmail:** on a computer, add Avery's address under Settings › Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Gmail sends Avery a code, which shows up on the same screen. Then search for your leads (like `from:zillow.com`) and choose **Create filter › Forward it to**. - **Outlook:** Settings › Mail › Rules: from `zillow.com`, redirect to Avery's address. - **iCloud:** on iCloud.com, Mail › Settings › Rules: if from `zillow.com`, forward to Avery's address. Lead emails from other senders, like your website's form, wait in the email log the first time. Open one and choose **Always accept from this sender**, and the rest come straight through. ### Check the email log The **Email log**, on the same screen, lists every email Avery got. Open one to see what Avery learned and who and which deal it filed it on. Mail from someone Avery doesn't know waits at the top for you to accept, deliver or ignore. --- ## Run your first open house > Create an open house from an MLS listing sheet, choose your sign-in questions, print the QR sign visitors scan to sign in, and follow up with every visitor the same day. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/run-an-open-house Updated: 2026-10-26 Visitors sign in on their own phones by scanning a QR sign. When you're done hosting, Avery has a follow-up ready for each of them. ### 1. Start a new open house Tap **+**, then **Open house**. Choose how to give Avery the listing: - **Listing sheet**: a PDF from Files or Mail. - **Photo or screenshot**: the flyer, or the MLS page. - **Type it in**: the address, beds and baths. ### 2. Check the details Avery reads the listing and fills in the address, price, beds, baths and what stands out. Fix anything that's off: tap the address to change it, and use **−** and **+** for beds and baths. Price is optional; remove it with **×**, or add one with **+ Price**. Add highlights Avery can mention and a note for her if you like. ### 3. Choose your sign-in questions Tap **Sign-in questions**. Visitors always give their name, mobile phone and email (optional). Everything else is yours: reword a question, drag it into order, switch it off, or tap **Add a question** for a suggestion, one you write, or one Avery writes from what you tell her. Tap **Save**. Your questions carry over to your next open house. If you switch off **Are you working with a real estate agent?**, Avery treats visitors as leads unless one of them says otherwise later. ### 4. Create it and print the sign Tap **Create**. Sign-in is open right away; there's no start or end time to set. On **Your sign is ready**, tap **Print sign**, or **Save PDF** to print it later. **Share link** sends the sign-in page itself, handy for a listing post. ### 5. Follow up when you're done When the last visitor leaves, tap **Done hosting** on the open house. Avery puts a card for each visitor on **Today** with a draft ready. Forget to tap it, and the cards arrive an hour after the last sign-in. Read each draft, make it yours, and tap **Send**. Visitors who check **Text me what this home sells for** hear from you again: when the home sells, Avery asks you for the price and drafts a text for each of them. --- ## Import your contacts from KW Command > Copy your KW Command contacts, notes, opportunities and tasks into AveryIQ with the AveryIQ Chrome extension. Source: https://averyiq.com/help/import-from-kw-command Updated: 2026-10-14 If your team uses KW Command, a Chrome extension copies your contacts and their history into AveryIQ. It only reads from Command and never changes anything there. Your KW login never leaves your browser. ### 1. Sign in to both On a computer, open Chrome and sign in to [AveryIQ](https://app.averyiq.app) and to KW Command. ### 2. Install the extension Add [AveryIQ](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/averyiq/obmlkojnogbchhcachmplaklipilckmf) to Chrome, then open the import page in AveryIQ. It connects to the extension. ### 3. Answer a few questions The quick pass takes a few minutes. Avery proposes what each Command tag and contact type means, and you confirm. You match each Command owner to a teammate, and say yes or no to any contacts that might already be in AveryIQ. ### 4. Let it run Then the extension reads every contact's notes and timeline. A large database can take most of an hour; people appear in AveryIQ as it goes. Keep the tab open until it finishes. --- ## Connect AveryIQ to Claude > Add AveryIQ to Claude once, then ask Claude about your people and open houses, or tell it what to save, right from a chat.
